One World Touch diplayed its line of products at Electrograph’s DTE (Display Technology Experience) held at the Hilton DFW Lakes Tennis & Sports Club Hotel in Grapevine, TX. Among other products, One World Touch displayed a 24″ Touch Monitor with 3M’s Capacitive Technology and a 40″ Large Touch Monitor with 3M’s DST Technology. Both Touch Monitors were shown using a custom software by Firestar Communications which is based out of Chicago, IL. In addition to the show, One World Touch’s President, Joshua Melant, was part of the “Digital Signage – Panel of Experts” that gave advice and answered questions for attendees. The panel was moderated by Lyle Bunn, Principal of Bunn Co. and Joshua was joined by Tiffany Dozier-Houck of Premier Mounts, Ryan Cahoy of RiseVision, Alan Brawn of Brawn Consulting and David Haar of Minicom Digital Signage.
One World Touch has announced the release of additional Large Touch Monitors. With the recent completion of 3M MicroTouch DST training, One World Touch has expanded its line of Large Touch Monitors up to 46″. The Large Touch Monitor line with DST now includes a 32″ (LM-3218-24), a 40″ (LM-4018-32), a 42″ (LM-4218-24) and two 46″ (LM-4618-24 and LM-4618-32). One World Touch has successfully completed its 3M MicroTouch DST Integrator Training and it now one of the few authorized integrators of 3M’s DST Touch Screens in the U.S. “Dispersive Signal Technology is 3M’s proprietary implementation of bending wave technology, which 3M has enhanced to optimize real-time touch response for large-screen public-access applications”, 3M Touch Systems website. With this technology now available to integrate, One World Touch has greatly enhanced its Large Touch Monitor offerings and also partnered with a leader in touch technology
One World Touch moves into its new facility at 3003 West Howard Lane in Austin, TX. The new building includes a full integration room, inventory storage areas, a customer conference center and multiple offices for its employees.
Ground has been broken on One World Touch’s new office. The building is being constructed by Reese Custom Builders in Northwest Austin. This new corporate headquarters is conveniently located just off of Loop 1, minutes away from IH-35 and the new toll Highway 45. The building will include a full integration room, customer conference center and much more. Construction is scheduled to be completed by end of December 2007.
